Android Nougat is Now on Over 11% devices, Marshmallow Continues to Dominate With Over 31% Share!

Google just updated their Android Developer Dashboard with a report on the number of Android devices running various Android versions. So as per the latest report, published on Android Developers Website, Android Nougat (Version 7.0 and above) is now running on 11.5% devices! To be specific, Android version 7.0 (API 24) is running on 10.6% devices while Android Version 7.1(API 25) is running on 0.9% devices. So it's safe to say that a very little fraction of devices have been updated to latest Android version (Android 7.1 and above). But it's good to see that over 1/10th of devices have been upgraded to Android Nougat!

Well in my last thread on this report, I wrote :
Quote: Some may say this is a very poor figure, but to put this into context, this percentage is same (almost) as the percentage of total number of devices running Android 2.3.3 all the way to Android 4.3 combined! (0.8% + 0.8% + 3.1% + 4.4% + 1.3% = 10.4%).
But in this month's report number of devices running Android Nougat have surpassed this figure! Now total number of devices running Android 2.3.3 to Android 4.3 is 9.5% while Android Nougat is 10.5%! Android Marshmallow, which was launched in 2015, occupies most of the portion of the chart with a whopping 31.8% share. Android Lollipop, touted as most used vesion of Android, fell to 30.1% this month.

Google also provided data about the number of devices that have a particular screen configuration. Basically this means the number of combination of screen size and density. The data is given below.
